Wall Tapestries from Europe

I hope you are all enjoying the change of scenery at The Tapestry Standard.  We got a little tired of the old design and decided to lighten it up a little. 

We have also added even more tapestries!  If you want to see impressive size and beautiful weaving, please check out our new Large Vertical tapestries.  A large tapestry is a work of art and deserves to be the centerpiece of a room.  You can design a whole space around these gorgeous wall hangings.  They look especially impressive in a high ceiling room or an open foyer. 

One of our newest and most charming horizontal tapestries is Le Lignon Classique.  This stunning wall tapestry is done in the Verdure style, popular in the industry.  The beautiful soft sage greens, golden browns, and stunning blue hues make this tapestry a masterpiece.  It looks stunning against cream colored walls and any shade of wood finish.

Here are some highlights of our new Pansu collection.  The weaving of these tapestries is very tight, making the details of each piece very clear.  They are all beautiful, but there are some exceptionally lovely ones.

This beautiful rendition of Duc de Berry (The Duke of Berry) depicts the month of May and his romance with a maiden.  The Duc de Berry tapestry collection represents the 12 months of the year and his various activities during those months.  This piece is very colorful and is a lovely take on the classic design.

The Provence wall tapestry makes such a happy addition to your home decor.  The bright, friendly Sunflowers stretch as far as the eye can see.  The peaks of Saint Victoire mountain rise in the background to give the impression of great distance.  It is a wonderful wall hanging to display anywhere.

We are excited to say that we have a new version of Repos de la Licorne from the Pansu mill.  It is stunning in its intricacy!  Another beautiful new version of a classic.  This tapestry begs to be hung in almost any decor!
